In the fast-paced world of digital interaction, building a strong community and keeping everyone engaged is key to any platform’s success. That’s why Blum just dropped an epic new feature: Tribes!
What is a Tribe?
A Tribe is basically a squad of users on Blum, teaming up to score mutual benefits through group activities. This feature boosts the community vibe and motivates everyone to get more involved in the app. Join a Tribe to collab, share tips, and crush common goals for sweet rewards and recognition in the app!
Key Features of Tribes in V1 Release
With the V1 release of Tribes, users can form groups inside the Blum Mini App to achieve the following:
Collectively Farm Blum Points: Users can pool their efforts with their referral network to farm Blum Points directly into the Tribe's Vault.
Promote Social Media Channels: Tribe members can promote themselves and their social media channels to the wider Blum user base.
Farm Blum Points 10% Faster: By participating in Tribe activities, users can earn Blum Points at an accelerated rate, gaining a significant advantage.
Requirements for Creating a Tribe
Creating a Tribe in Blum is an opportunity reserved for users who hold administrative positions in their respective Telegram channels and group chats. Here are the prerequisites:
Telegram Group or Channel Ownership: Being an admin of a Telegram group or channel is mandatory for creating a Tribe. If you don't have a Telegram group or channel yet, create one in advance.
Verification via bot: Verification of the channel or the group is done through the bot @blum_sigma_bot, which needs to be added as an admin to the channel or the group. It does not matter what permissions are granted to the bot. After verification, the bot can be removed from the administrators.
By setting these requirements, Blum ensures that Tribe creators are equipped with the necessary tools and experience to lead and manage their groups effectively.
Naming and Referral Links
Tribe Name: The Tribe name will be derived from the Telegram Channel/Group name. It won't be updated if you change the name, at least in this release.
Referral Links: Once Tribes are active, you'll have two referral links:
Tribe Ref: A new referral link to invite both new and existing users to your Tribe.
Personal Ref: Your current referral link used to invite new users to Blum.
Regardless of which referral link is shared, if used by a new user without a Blum account, they will be assigned as your Fren and farm BPs for you as usual. To simplify, sharing the TRIBE REF is recommended.
Growing Your Tribe: Users who join your Tribe will be able to share your Tribe link to help it grow.
Joining and Switching Tribes
One of the most inclusive aspects of Tribes is that any user can join any Tribe. This open policy allows users to explore various Tribes and find one that aligns with their interests and goals. Whether you're new to the app or a seasoned user, you can easily become a part of any Tribe and start reaping the benefits of cooperative activities.
Flexibility is key when it comes to user engagement, and Blum understands this well. Users are not locked into a single Tribe once they join. Here’s what you need to know about changing Tribes:
Leaving a Tribe: Users can leave their current Tribe at any time, ensuring they are not bound to a Tribe that no longer meets their needs or interests.
Joining a New Tribe: After leaving a Tribe, users are free to join a new one, allowing them to explore different Tribes and find the best fit for their evolving interests and goals.
Benefits of Joining a Tribe
Joining a Tribe comes with several advantages that enhance the overall user experience on Blum:
Accelerated Farming: By participating in Tribe activities, users can earn Blum Points 10% faster than usual.
Enhanced Engagement: Tribes encourage users to engage more actively with the app’s features and community, leading to a richer and more fulfilling experience.
Community Support: Being part of a Tribe provides users with a support network where they can share knowledge, seek help, and collaborate on common goals.
Future Updates
In the coming weeks, Blum plans to release additional updates to the Tribes feature, including:
Tribes Leaderboard: A competitive leaderboard showcasing the top-performing Tribes.
Leagues: Organized groups of Tribes competing in various challenges.
Extra Perks: Additional benefits and rewards for active Tribe members.
BP Giveaways: Opportunities to win Blum Points through Tribe-related activities.
Tribe's Vault Rewards: Exclusive rewards for the top 100 users of a Tribe.

The introduction of Tribes in Blum marks a significant step towards building a more engaged and cooperative user community. By allowing users to create, join, and switch Tribes, Blum ensures that every user has the opportunity to find their niche and contribute to the app's growth and development.
