Blum Points vs. Meme Points
1. What is the difference between Season 2’s Blum Points and Meme Points?
In Season 2, Blum introduces two distinct types of points:
Blum Points: Awarded for general participation within the Blum ecosystem, these points are essential for eligibility in rewards and airdrops. They continue from Season 1 and will keep rewarding your ongoing participation.
Meme Points: Tied specifically to activities on Memepad and Blum Trading Bot, which allows you to trade a variety of TON Tokens through Blum's products. Meme Points reward you for launching tokens and trading tokens. They offer additional incentives for active engagement and are automatically counted.
2. Are Blum Points and Meme Points of equal value?
Both Blum Points and Meme Points are valuable, but serve different functions within the ecosystem. While both contribute to your overall rewards, the specific criteria for each will be published before listing. To maximize your rewards across both points systems, stay active by participating in activities such as trading, engaging in the community, playing drop games, completing tasks, and referring friends.
3. How do I earn Meme Points?
You can earn Meme Points in the following ways:
Launch your token with Memepad: +500 Meme Points
Your token hits a decentralized exchange (DEX): +10,000 Meme Points
Every $10 in volume traded on Memepad: +50 Meme Points
Every $10 traded with the Blum Trading Bot: +750 Meme Points
Note: Meme Points are earned exclusively through Memepad or the Blum Trading Bot; external platforms do not count.
Memepad and Token Trading
4. Why is it necessary to trade? What about trading fees?
Trading memecoins on Memepad encourages community engagement and promotes a dynamic marketplace. The trading fee on Memepad is 1% (which is the market average fee) and helps cover platform operational costs. While there are no current plans to lower fees, the team is open to exploring options in the future.
5. What is the Blum Trading Bot and do I need to use it?
The Blum Trading Bot is an automated tool designed to help users trade tokens more efficiently on Memepad and across TON's ecosystem (and new blockchains coming soon). While it is not mandatory, it offers enhanced functionality for users who want to streamline their trading experience. Blum Trading Bot is the beta version and will be added seamlessly within the Blum Mini App shortly.
Airdrops and Rewards
6. When is Blum’s Token Generation Event (TGE)?
Blum's TGE is planned for Q1 2025.
7. If I don’t trade memecoins or engage in on-chain activities, am I still eligible for an airdrop?
Yes, you can still be eligible for an airdrop even if you're not trading memecoins or performing on-chain activities. Meme Points (MP) offer a new way to earn, but Blum Points (BPs) generated by completing tasks, participating in the "Task and Earn" section, playing games, and referring friends, also count. The Blum Trading Bot lets you trade both memecoins and general tokens, further boosting your chances. Exact airdrop criteria will be shared before listing and TGE.
8. What is the Blum Token?
Blum Token is the native utility token of the Blum ecosystem and will be listed on exchanges. The Blum Token will be used for rewards, airdrops, and other key functions within the platform.
9. Will Blum share clear airdrop criteria, similar to other projects?
Yes, the team acknowledges the need for clear airdrop criteria and will release detailed information on how to qualify for airdrops in the near future. For now, airdrops will be based on users' Proof of Activity, task completion, and participation in activities such as trading, engaging in the community, playing games, completing tasks in the "Task and Earn" section, and referring friends. Participation in Memepad will also play an important role in qualifying for airdrops.
10. Why was the roadmap changed?
While Memepad is a vital part of Blum’s long-term vision, it had to be prioritized to establish a strong foundation. The launch of the exchange is still part of the roadmap, and the timeline will continue to evolve based on user needs and feedback.
User Engagement and Anti-Farming Measures
11. Will Blum ban bots and account farmers from Seasons 1 and 2?
Yes, Blum is actively working to prevent bot farming and account farming that undermines the fairness of the platform. Measures are being put in place to ban bad actors who create multiple accounts to farm Blum Points or Meme Points, ensuring fairness for all users.
12. Are there additional benefits for early joiners and supporters?
Blum plans to reward early participants, such as those who joined the email waitlist or became part of the community before the platform's general release (April-June 2024). These users will be eligible for exclusive rewards and other special perks, which will be detailed in future announcements.
General Information
13. What is the status of Blum's cap table?
The seed and private funding rounds are largely complete, with Binance Labs and TOP (The Open Platform) as the primary investors. Additional investors may be announced as Blum continues to expand.
14. Why do Memepad tokens always have a 1B supply?
The standard 1B token supply for Memepad ensures adequate liquidity for trades. Liquidity is provided by users who purchase and hold tokens, and a liquidity pool is set up on the TON blockchain to facilitate smooth trading.
15. What will happen if Telegram is blocked in my region? How will I access Blum?
In the event that Telegram is blocked in your region, Blum will still be accessible via the web, ensuring continuous access to the platform. The team is working to ensure seamless access despite regional challenges.
